Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has received a single bid from M/s Telenor for spectrum auction Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS) in Pakistan by the deadline of 1600hrs on June 1st, 2016.  This is carried out in the light of procedure, requirements and criteria laid down in the Information Memorandum (IM).

It may be added that, in accordance with the timelines of the auction process, an information session with the prospective bidders including Mobilink, Telenor, World Call & Multinet, was held on 23th May, 2016.  PTA completed this procedure in an open and transparent manner, in line with the policy directive of the Ministry of IT & Telecom and rules of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
