(Islamabad: 5th October, 2019): Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its continuous efforts to curtail grey trafficking, carried out a successful raid in coordination with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Karachi.

The raid was conducted in Gujar Nala, Karachi in close coordination with FIA, where 7 gateways, 3 laptops, 2 mobile devices, 2 LAN switches, a Dongle and approximately 150 SIMs were confiscated. One person was arrested during the raid.

The ongoing successful raids against grey operators are testament to PTA’s continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts along with the support of FIA in curtailing grey traffic.
