With the launch of new mobile services, in future, Pakistani cell phone subscribers would be able to transmit and receive high speed data through their mobile phones. High speed data means possibility of video calls, internet browsing and downloading at a much higher speed which also includes usage of data intensive applications.

With the Spectrum auction in Pakistan and network rollouts in the near future, the industry stand to benefit from the data growth and exciting applications and services on the latest networks. The Spectrum auction will inject a new life into it and that has been witnessed by the cellular world.

Driven by various policy initiatives, the telecom sector of Pakistan witnessed a complete transformation in the last decade. It has achieved a phenomenal growth and is poised to take a big leap in the future; in this regard upcoming spectrum auction would be a great step.
