Functions:

Strategy and Development (S&D) division, being an important organ of PTA, is responsible for performing functions summarized as below: Explore and analyze emerging/current technologies, latest regulatory trends in telecom industry. Assist Authority by providing input on technical, strategic and policy matters related to regulation of Telecommunication sector. Development of regulatory frameworks/instruments in pace with technology evolution and telecom services uptake/adoption Conducting workshops and capacity building initiatives with vendors and telecom industry stakeholders. Liaison/coordination with internal and external stakeholders on policy and regulatory affairs.
