Functions:

The Audit Division of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance within the organization. It conducts financial, operational, and performance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and the efficient utilization of resources. The division reviews financial transactions, regulatory receipts, and expenditures in line with government rules and PTA’s service regulations. It also provides recommendations to strengthen governance, minimize risks, and prevent irregularities. By maintaining oversight and ensuring adherence to regulatory and financial standards, the Audit Division supports PTA’s mission of good governance and institutional integrity.
