Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has seized network of illegal gateway exchange in Karachi, which was causing huge loss to the national exchequer.

PTA and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Response Center for Cyber Crimes (NR3C), Karachi launched crack down against network of  illegal gateway exchange in Soldier Bazar Karachi and arrested the owner and confiscated system. The raid was conducted based on the information obtained through PTA’s facility which detects grey (illegal) telephone traffic.
